About Clay Schlinke

I'm the founder and CEO of Invest 5S LLC, a family-owned real estate development company. We help high earners and aspiring investors pursue long-term wealth through managed duplex investments in Texas. I started at 21 as a realtor, became a successful home flipper, and in 2002 transitioned into developing build-to-rent duplex communities.

I recognized what institutional investors already knew: Rental housing in high-growth markets can be one of the most consistent wealth-building assets available when managed properly.

In 2008, I navigated the financial crisis and used those lessons to rebuild a stronger, more resilient model. How much is required upfront?
